Information & Device Permissions
EduFirst Connect processes account and school-context information to provide secure access and authorised school services. We do not sell personal information or publish permission-derived location, camera, files or photos for other users to see. Location is used only by location-enabled features; camera and media access are used only when a feature requires them and the user grants/selects access.
Permission and data use
The welcome permission check does not retain the location coordinates it checks and stops a camera stream immediately. Files and gallery photos are not read until you select a file/photo. Account records remain available to authorised roles according to school access rules. Necessary infrastructure providers, such as hosting, email and push-notification providers, may process limited technical data only to deliver the requested service; this is not a sale of personal information.
Browser/device permissions can be changed in system settings. If a permission is denied, the related optional feature may not work; the app should not silently enable or bypass it.
For login, Access ID recovery or password reset, use the single Account Access option.
